Core Goal: Ensure all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas meet strict brand or health regulations consistently
Key Functions and Responsibilities *
Staff Supervision & Scheduling
Create daily work schedules, shift rosters, and break times.
Assign specific cleaning and maintenance tasks to room attendants and housemen.
Monitor attendance, timecards, and daily performance on the floor
Quality Control & Inspections
Conduct routine spot-checks and thorough inspections of guest rooms, lobbies, corridors, and banquet halls.
Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleanliness, sanitization, and presentation.
Address substandard cleaning immediately and coach staff on corrective actions. [1, 2, 3, 4]
