Job Responsibilities
Independently set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines.
Perform machine setting, tool selection and tool offset adjustments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions.
Understand and edit CNC programs using G-codes and M-codes.
Work with FANUC / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers.
Perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring and other machining operations.
Check component dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and height gauges.
Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues.
Maintain tools, fixtures and machine cleanliness.
Follow production targets, quality standards and safety procedures.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Required Technical Skills
VMC machine setting and operation.
FANUC / Siemens / Mitsubishi controller knowledge.
G-code and M-code programming knowledge.
Tool setting and offset adjustment.




Drawing reading and GD&T; knowledge.
Knowledge of cutting tools and fixtures.
Measuring instrument handling.
Knowledge of machining processes and tolerances.
