We are hiring a General Insurance Underwriter for an insurance broking firm in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities
Assess risks and review proposals, policy wording and coverage terms for corporate and SME clients.
Compare quotes from insurers and negotiate terms and premiums.
Handle policy placement, issuance, endorsements and renewals.
Coordinate with insurers, clients and the sales team, and support client servicing.
Maintain policy records and MIS reports.

Requirements
6–10 years of experience in general insurance underwriting, placement or broking. Property, marine, liability, engineering, health or motor lines are all welcome.
Robust knowledge of policy terms and the claims process.
Valuable communication and negotiation skills, and working knowledge of MS Excel.
IRDAI or III certification and an MBA are preferred.




Candidates who can join at short notice are preferred.

Salary: ₹8–10 LPA (fixed), based on experience.

Pay: ₹66,000.00 - ₹83,000.00 per month
