Role Overview

You will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and Shopify stores from design handoff through launch and support. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver clean, performant, and maintainable work.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from Figma/XD designs

- Build and customize Shopify stores using Liquid, including theme customization and section/block development

- Convert designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, cross-browser layouts

- Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping tools

- Set up and manage WooCommerce stores where required

- Optimize sites for speed, SEO, security, and Core Web Vitals

- Troubleshoot bugs, handle migrations, and manage updates and backups

- Maintain code quality using Git and follow agency coding standards

- Communicate project status, estimates, and risks clearly to the team and clients

Required Skills

- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development

- Strong PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery

- WordPress: custom themes, custom post types, ACF, hooks/filters, REST API, and page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg blocks)

- Shopify: Liquid, Online Store 2.0, metafields, theme customization, and app integrations





- Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify checkout/payment configuration

- Solid understanding of responsive design, SEO best practices, and site performance optimization

- Familiarity with Git, hosting/cPanel, staging environments, and deployment workflows

- Ability to take a project from design file to live site with minimal supervision

Good to Have

- Experience with Shopify app development or headless/Hydrogen setups

- Knowledge of React or Vue.js

- Experience with multilingual and multi-currency setups

- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, GTM, and Search Console

- Experience with Figma and design handoff

- Portfolio of live WordPress and Shopify projects

- Clear written and verbal communication

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Cooperative attitude and willingness to learn new tools

Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
