Agnitio Software seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to manage both front-end and back-end development, including theme and plugin customization, site architecture, and performance optimization. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to translate client specifications and UI/UX wireframes into responsive, high-converting WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Theme & Plugin Development: Design, build, and customize custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Page Builder & Custom Fields: Build flexible page layouts using custom block themes (Gutenberg), Elementor, or ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
- Website Maintenance & Optimization: Perform routine updates, maintain site security, fix bugs, and continuously improve website performance (Core Web Vitals, speed optimization).
- Ecommerce Integration: Set up, customize, and maintain WooCommerce stores, payment gateways, and third-party integrations (if applicable).
- Cross-Browser & Responsive Design: Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.
- Migration & Deployment: Handle site migrations, server configurations, DNS setup, and staging-to-production deployments smoothly.
- API Integrations:



Integrate third-party APIs, marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp), and CRM systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience developing custom WordPress websites.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript / jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- Tools & Frameworks:
- Hands-on experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), Gutenberg, and major builders (Elementor/Divi).
- Familiarity with design platforms like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- SEO & Performance: Robust grasp of technical SEO best practices, page load optimization techniques, and web accessibility (WCAG).
- Version Control: Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
