JOB CONTENT :

- Ensure all welding and casting repair activities are carried out as per approved WPS, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Analyze welding defects and implement corrective actions to reduce weld rejection, reworks.
- Maintain welder qualifications, welding consumable control, process parameters, and welding/repair records.
- Preferring candidates from Foundry / Valve companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Ensure welding process Qualifications and up keep of welding machines & records in line with Qualifying the Welders and ensuring the Validity of the Qualification for different grades - WPS and PQR as pe relevant standards.




- Post weld heat treatment of Body nozzle assemblies with specific heat treatment cycles according to the MOC of the assembly, comply with the procedure and traceability.
- Up-keeping of Baking & Holding Oven and Rectifiers.
- Issue and control of Welding Rods as per approved procedure.
- Preparing the record for heat treatment cycle and comply with procedure and traceability.
- Maintaining Calibration Records for Welding and heat treatment equipment & Knowledge on C12A welding and dissimilar material welding.
- Ensure correct Selection ,Identification Storage Electrode and consumbles.
