ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

Crossing Infotech is seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in cybersecurity, information security, and digital protection. This internship provides an opportunity to understand security fundamentals, network concepts, vulnerability assessment, and cybersecurity best practices through guided learning and authorized lab-based assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in researching common cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Learn fundamental network and information security concepts.
- Support basic security assessments in authorized training environments.
- Understand security monitoring and incident reporting processes.
- Research phishing, malware, and other common cyber threats.
- Assist in documenting security findings and recommendations.
- Learn about access control, authentication, and data protection.
- Follow ethical security practices and responsible disclosure guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Basic understanding of computer systems and networking.
- Interest in cybersecurity and information security.
- Familiarity with operating systems, especially Linux, is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP,



DNS, and HTTP.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Responsible approach to handling information and security-related tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Students or graduates from Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Linux commands and networking tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of ethical hacking concepts is beneficial.
- Awareness of security tools such as Wireshark or Nmap is preferred.
- Freshers interested in building a career in cybersecurity are welcome.
