Role & responsibilities :-
- Field Surveys: Conduct topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys using tools like total stations, GPS receivers, levels, and 3D laser scanners.
- Data Analysis & Mapping: Process field data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and create detailed plans, maps, and drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Control & Alignment: Establish and verify site control points and set out reference lines for buildings, roads, bridges, and utilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers, architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure site measurements match design specifications.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare technical reports, boundary analyses, and documentation while ensuring compliance with local zoning laws and building codes.
