Looking for a Purchase Engineer with experience of 5-8 years and having experience of handling all aspects of a manufacturing plant's product Purchaseing and supply chain management.
He/ She has to send RFQs to suppliers and then receive Quotes.
Purchase Order (PO) Processing: Generate, release, and track POs with accurate technical specs, part numbers, and tax/GST/import details.
Material Planning & BOM Analysis: Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for active and passive components (ICs, microcontrollers, resistors, capacitors, PCBs, connectors) production requirements.
Vendor Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify, develop, and maintain a reliable database of approved component manufacturers, authorized distributors, and local/global suppliers.
Delivery & Line-Stoppage Prevention: Follow up actively with vendors to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
and prevent production line stoppages.
Quality & Compliance Coordination: Coordinate with quality assurance and stores departments for incoming inspection, test certificates, warranty documentation, and returns/replacements for defective or mismatched parts.
Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor market price trends, lead times, and component obsolescence while generating periodic MIS and cost-reduction reports.
