Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer responsible for handling overall plant maintenance activities, including utility systems, electrical installations and production machinery. The candidate should ensure smooth plant operations, minimize machine breakdowns and maintain equipment efficiency through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Maintenance

- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in machines.
- Maintain CNC, VMC, hydraulic, pneumatic and other manufacturing equipment.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain machine maintenance records and breakdown reports.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.

2. Electrical Maintenance

- Handle electrical maintenance of industrial machines and plant electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot motors, control panels, electrical circuits, sensors, relays and contactors.
- Maintain LT panels, MCC panels, distribution boards and electrical installations.
- Handle electrical wiring, power distribution and lighting systems.
- Monitor electrical safety and ensure proper earthing.
- Coordinate electrical repair and maintenance activities.

3. Utility Maintenance

- Maintain air compressors, cooling towers, chillers and industrial pumps.
- Handle DG sets, HVAC systems and water supply systems.




- Monitor utility equipment performance and energy consumption.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities for production operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility equipment.

Required Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive industry preferred.
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply, depending on company requirements.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Motors, Pumps, Compressors and DG Sets.
- Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.
- Knowledge of CNC / VMC machine maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD and control panels.
- Knowledge of 5S, TPM and Kaizen activities.

Required Skills
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle machine breakdowns independently.
- Positive coordination with Production and Utility teams.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.

- Reduction in machine breakdowns and downtime.
- Timely completion of preventive maintenance.
- Improvement in equipment efficiency.
- Availability of plant utilities.
- Reduction in maintenance costs.
