Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and institutional projects. The candidate shall be responsible for HVAC load calculations, system selection, duct and piping design, preparation of design documents, & preparation of Technical data sheets based on client specifications and BOQ, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and support during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC Design & Engineering

- Perform HVAC cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard software such as HAP, TRACE 3D Plus, IES VE, or Carrier E20.
- Design and develop HVAC systems including:

- Chilled Water Systems

- VRF/VRV Systems

- DX Systems

- Packaged Units

- AHUs and FCUs

- Ventilation and Exhaust Systems
- Prepare HVAC system schematics and layout drawings.
- Perform duct sizing using Equal Friction, Static Regain, and Velocity Reduction methods.
- Design chilled water, condenser water, and refrigerant piping systems.
- Calculate external static pressure requirements and fan selections.

- Develop detailed

- Duct Layouts

- Piping Layouts

- Plant Room Layouts

- Equipment Installation Drawings
- Conduct pressure drop calculations for ductwork and piping networks.

Equipment Selection

- Select and size:

- Chillers

- Cooling Towers

- Pumps

- AHUs

- FCUs
- VRF Outdoor and Indoor Units

- Fans and Pressurization Systems
- Review vendor technical submittals and provide recommendations.

Coordination

- Coordinate with:





- Client/PMC Team
- Inter department Team (Sales/Purchase/ Electrical /Plumbing & Firefighting & Projects Team)
- Participate in BIM/Revit coordination meetings.
- Resolve clashes and optimize HVAC routing.

Site Support

- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Attend site inspections and consultant/client meetings.
- Verify installed systems are in accordance with design intent.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC Design experience.
- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, airports, industrial facilities, or high-rise projects.
