Role & responsibilities

1. Provide nursing care to patients at home as per the doctor's instructions.

2. Monitor and record vital signs, including BP, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and SpO.

3. Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed.

4. Provide wound dressing, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.

5. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility.

6. Provide care for bedridden, elderly, post-operative, and critically ill patients within the nurse's competency.

7. Monitor patient health conditions and report any changes to the doctor or supervisor.

8. Maintain proper nursing documentation and patient care records.

9. Follow infection control protocols and maintain hygiene.

10. Educate patients and family members about medication, nutrition, hygiene, and disease management.

11. Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort and dignity.

12. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and arrange timely medical assistance.
