Role: Senior Python Developer / Technical Lead

Location: Pune (Onsite, Work from Office, 5 days a week)

Shift Time: UK Shift (02.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST)

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on Python development

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer who can design and build reliable applications, lead database implementation, and guide the team on sound software design principles

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, backend services, and APIs.
Own database design and implementation, including data models, queries, indexing, migrations, performance, and backup strategies.
Define application architecture and apply design principles such as SOLID, separation of concerns, and reusable design patterns.
Review code, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve application performance and reliability.
Establish standards for testing, documentation, security, and deployment.
Mentor developers and work with product, UI, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills:
10+ years of robust, hands-on Python experience.




Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask and REST API development.
Robust knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
Practical understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable system architecture.
Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and production deployments.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, data protection, logging, and error handling.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide implementation.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and container-based deployments.
Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, caching, and integrations with third-party systems.
Experience leading technical discussions, estimating work, and mentoring engineers.
Exposure to AI services or enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.
