Role Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Associate to support email-based marketing initiatives and event communications. The candidate will be responsible for developing targeted email campaigns, coordinating event registrations, and ensuring timely communication with members, investors, and event participants.

Hands-on experience with Mailchimp and event registration management is essential for this role.

Core Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Communications
Create and manage email campaigns using Mailchimp.
Draft event invitations, announcements, newsletters, and promotional communications.
Schedule email campaigns and automated reminders.
Personalize communications for different audience segments.
Proofread and test emails before deployment.
Event Communications & Registrations
Coordinate event registration forms and online registration pages.
Manage attendee databases and registration updates.
Send registration confirmations, event reminders, and logistical information.
Coordinate pre-event and post-event communications.
Support attendee engagement through timely and relevant email communication.
Content & Audience Management
Maintain email contact lists and subscriber databases.
Segment audiences for targeted communications.




Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding.
Maintain records of email campaigns and event communications.
Reporting & Optimization
Track email campaign performance and engagement.
Monitor registrations generated through email campaigns.
Prepare performance reports and identify improvement prospects.
Recommend improvements to email content, timing, and audience targeting.

Required Skills
Practical experience with Mailchimp and email marketing campaigns.
Experience with event registration workflows and attendee communications.
Strong written communication, editing, and copywriting skills.
Understanding of email automation and audience segmentation.
Familiarity with Eventbrite, Cvent, Zoho Events, or similar platforms.
Solid attention to detail and coordination skills.

Experience to Look For
2–5 years of experience in marketing communications, email marketing, or event communications.
Experience creating qualified email content for business audiences.
Hands-on experience managing event registrations and attendee updates.
Experience coordinating multiple communication activities simultaneously.
