Position Overview

The Team lead- US Tax is responsible to prepare and manage end-to-end tax returns. This role requires strong technical US tax skills, proficiency in CCH, Ultra Tax and the ability to work independently while supporting process improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Candidate would be preparing and managing Individual tax returns (1040, 1040NR returns) and related workpapers
Candidates will be working on tax software like CCH & Ultra Tax on daily basis
Candidate would prepare complex tax returns
Monitor progress of engagements and ensure adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
Candidate would show Strong organization skills, able to manage various returns simultaneously and independently manage projects from beginning to delivery
Candidate shall Ensure proper documentation as per firm methodology and auditing standards.

Education, Skills & Experience
B.Com/M.Com/ CA Inter/EA
5 to 9 years
Solid Knowledge on US Tax laws
Experience in preparing and reviewing individual tax returns (1040, 1040NR returns) and related workpapers
Ability to work independently on complex returns
Knowledge of CCH is MUST and Ultra Tax would be an added advantage
Comfortable with US shift. (03:30 PM - 12:30 AM)
Organized with an ability to multi-task and can manage time appropriately.
Solid technical and interpersonal skills
Should have positive English communication skills - Verbal and written
Shift Timings 03:30 PM IST - 00:30 AM IST (Indian Summers)
