About the Role

This is a client-facing Manager role within Getfive's Merchant Banking division, responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements end-to-end — from financial statement analysis and compliance review through to deal execution. The role requires both robust technical accounting/audit judgment and the ability to lead and mentor a junior team while managing client and auditor relationships directly. This is a backfill position reporting to the Execution Head - Merchant Banking.

What You Will Do
Perform end-to-end financial statement analysis and financial due diligence
Verify compliance with Companies Act 2013, Accounting Standards, Ind AS, and SEBI (ICDR) Regulations 2018
Prepare and review complete/restated financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Prepare financial analyses, models, valuations,



and presentations to support deal execution
Prepare GAAP, Non-GAAP and Ind-AS measures with variance analysis
Liaise with auditors and client management to monitor transaction progress and resolve issues
Build and maintain client and counterparty relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery
Coordinate transaction-related activities and finalize documentation for deal closure
Lead and mentor a team of assistant managers/associates/analysts, allocating and reviewing work

What We're Looking For
Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (excluding articleship)
Experience in statutory audit at a large or mid-size consulting firm, and/or financial due diligence
Robust understanding of financial due diligence, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to lead, review, and mentor junior team members
Robust client management, communication, and stakeholder-handling skills
Ability to independently manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
Working knowledge of Tally is a plus but not required
