Paralegal, South Asia

Key responsibilities include:
Assisting lawyers and the development team in drafting, editing and proofreading agreements for management and franchise deals, amendments to agreements, assignments and related documents
Supporting the execution of agreements including arranging for approvals and signing
Preparing and filing closing documentation and contract summaries
Tracking of legal documents and maintaining legal databases
Approximately 20 to 30% of time will be spent on general administrative tasks such as filing and printing.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
At least a diploma (or equivalent) in Law




3+ years of relevant work experience in a law firm or law department, with basic understanding of legal nomenclature and legal filing

Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong user skills across common platforms (Microsoft Office, Serengeti)
Able to collaborate well with others on the team and across different teams
Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
High level of confidence and able to perform well under pressure. Rapid pace worker and able to work with minimal supervision
