Role Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting activities, tax compliances, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. This full time, on-site role in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will review and improve internal controls, assist in audit preparation and coordination, and ensure adherence to statutory and tax requirements. The role includes supervising junior team members, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness, and collaborating with partners and clients to resolve accounting issues and provide clear financial insights.



The Senior Accountant will also contribute to process improvements, documentation of accounting policies, and implementation of best practices within the firm.

Who We're Looking For:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter qualified candidates preferred.
3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Chartered Accountancy firm.
Solid working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST and TDS.
Good understanding of accounting standards and statutory compliances.
Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
Ability to independently manage assignments, meet deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, organised, and keen to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
Manage GST returns, TDS compliances, and related statutory filings.
Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and monthly reporting.
Coordinate with clients for accounting data, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and other accounting assignments.
Supervise and guide junior team members, wherever required.
