Role Description The Senior Tax Accountant is a full time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing and overseeing complex tax and accounting engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing direct and indirect tax returns, ensuring tax compliance with current laws and regulations, and advising clients on tax planning opportunities. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and coordinating with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed. The Senior Tax Accountant will mentor junior team members, help standardize processes,



and contribute to improving the firm’s tax and accounting practices. The position requires regular client interaction, clear documentation of work, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Accounting and the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements.
Relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
Several years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably in a public accounting or consulting environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
Up-to-date understanding of Indian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory professional practice.
