Role Overview

The role is at the intersection of technology, operations, and business management within the Cyber Defence function. It drives efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance, enhances procurement governance, and embeds up-to-date knowledge management practices. A core expectation is to champion automation and AI adoption (including Microsoft Copilot) to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy across Cyber Defence processes.

Key Responsibilities
Budget & Commercial Management
Procurement & Vendor Governance
Regulatory & Compliance Submissions
Knowledge Management & Process Governance
Develop, monitor, and manage the annual Cyber Defence budget, ensuring optimal utilisation and cost efficiencies
Support financial planning cycles including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimisation initiatives
Lead end‑to‑end procurement cycles for Cyber Defence solutions and services—RFI/RFP creation, bid evaluation, shortlisting, and contract negotiations.
Partner with Risk, Compliance,



and Legal teams to ensure Cyber Defence meets regulatory obligations and industry standards
Track status of submissions, maintain evidence repositories, and ensure readiness for regulatory audits
Build and manage Cyber Defence knowledge repositories, including SOPs, documentation, regulatory artefacts, processes, and decision logs
Implement structured knowledge management mechanisms to ensure information accuracy, version control, and easy retrieval

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
3 -8 years of experience
Understanding of cybersecurity domains (SOC operations, threat intelligence, controls, compliance)
Experience with procurement workflows, vendor assessments, and commercial negotiations
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to cybersecurity
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, SharePoint, and knowledge management tools
