Role Description The Preschool Center Head at Cubby Tales is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a high-quality learning workplace, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This full time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves leading and mentoring teaching and support staff, managing schedules, and coordinating classroom activities and events. The Center Head will engage with families through regular communication, address concerns, and organize parent meetings and orientations. The role includes implementing curriculum plans, monitoring child progress, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and overseeing admissions, documentation, and basic center administration.



The Center Head will also drive continuous improvement initiatives and support marketing and community outreach activities to strengthen the preschool’s presence.

Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising educators and support staff in an early childhood or school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, staff, and external partners.
Organizational and administrative abilities, including schedule management, record-keeping, handling admissions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and age-appropriate pedagogical practices.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle emergencies, conflicts, and sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
Experience in parent engagement, event coordination, and basic center-level marketing or outreach activities is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience as a preschool coordinator, center head, or in a similar educational leadership role is an advantage.
