As an AI Engineer, you will design, fine-tune, and deploy advanced AI systems, particularly LLMs, for healthcare and medical applications.

Responsibilities
Select, evaluate, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for medical and healthcare NLP tasks.
Design and implement prompt engineering and instruction-tuning strategies to improve model accuracy and reliability.
Apply fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, PEFT, and chain-of-thought (CoT) based training to enhance factual correctness.
Implement hallucination mitigation techniques to ensure medically grounded and trustworthy AI outputs.
Optimize model inference using quantization techniques (INT8, FP16) and productive parameter tuning.
Design and build robust data ingestion pipelines for EHRs, lab results, genomics, and clinical notes.
Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using vector databases.
Implement embedding models and optimize vector search using FAISS for quick and accurate retrieval.
Build fact-checking, citation, and evidence validation mechanisms for clinical AI responses.




Implement Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) using inputs from medical experts.
Deploy AI models into production using optimized serving pipelines such as ONNX, TensorRT, and vLLM.
Monitor model performance, data drift, and versioning in production environments.
Scale AI systems to support high-concurrency usage while optimizing GPU utilization and memory efficiency.
Ensure security, compliance, and ethical AI practices aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of FHIR, HL7 healthcare data standards
Experience with privacy-preserving AI (federated learning, differential privacy)
Solid understanding of explainable AI in healthcare contexts
Experience scaling LLMs for large user bases (10K-1M users)
