Key responsibilities
include (Not limited to):
Coordinate with vendors and Purchase Executives on a day to day basis for timely delivery of materials at the site
Source vendors in different regions and get quotations from them
Get a blank BOQ from Tendering & Estimation after project award
Start floating the inquiries with GFC drawings to vendors/suppliers to get competitive quantities, quotations, samples after project award
Manage any escalations for speedy sample delivery, test certifications etc
Check the rates with Tendering & Estimation and after their approval send samples to the site
Get MRNs from site managers and start procuring items which are common items with rate contracts which are already approved by the management
Check the vendor quotation against the BOQ specifications and proceed further with negotiations
Send to Tendering & Estimation for their review and negotiate further if T&E; gives a different pricing
Track delivery of all Long Lead items and ensure that it is delivered to the site in time




Get approvals from the billing team for all Non-Tender items and negotiate pricing on them
Manage all escalations from Projects team and Management Work Experience Essential:
Experience in working with and managing e-procurement (through ERPs) and contracts management platforms.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Work Based Competencies Essential:
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Solid communications skills, both written and verbal
Excellent negotiation skills
Understanding of the Interiors industries materials procurement
Very valuable prioritization skills to balance key priorities
