Role Description This is a full-time, in office Quantity Surveyor role based in Ahmedabad. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform quantity take-offs, and assist in tender preparation and evaluation. The role includes monitoring project costs, supporting cost planning, and preparing periodic cost reports to ensure budgets are controlled and variances are identified early. The Quantity Surveyor will work with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to verify measurements, track progress, validate contractor bills, and support negotiation and contract administration.



The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant standards, and providing explicit cost-related insights to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor budgets and support financial decision-making.
Candidates should possess practical expertise in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs to support tenders and project execution.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to forecast expenditures and present regular updates to stakeholders.
Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimating software; familiarity with industry-standard methods of measurement.
Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and reports.
Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, vendors, and clients, and to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Prior experience in building or infrastructure projects in a similar role is preferred.
