We are looking for an experienced VMware VCF Support Engineer (L2/L3) with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, virtualization technologies, and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing critical incidents, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the stability and performance of VMware environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 technical support for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and analysis of VMware components, including vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and SDDC Manager.
- Handle critical incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures to improve infrastructure stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.




- Work closely with product development teams to report technical issues and recommend improvements.
- Mentor junior support engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay updated with the latest VMware technologies, tools, and certifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in VMware Cloud / VMware technologies.
- Strong experience in L2/L3 infrastructure support, preferably in an L3 support environment.
- Good knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Hands-on experience with:

- VMware vSphere

- VMware NSX

- VMware vSAN

- SDDC Manager
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and handling critical escalations.
- VMware Certified Qualified (VCP) or Advanced Professional certification in Data Center, Cloud, or Networking is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in VMware Cloud Foundation support and administration.
- Strong background in virtualization and data center infrastructure.
- Experience working in enterprise-level IT infrastructure support environments.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
