Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end VCF deployments across multiple versions

- VMware Stack Expertise: VCF (SDDC Manager/Fleet Management), vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, VCF Automation, and VMware HCX.

- Networking Security: Tier-0/Tier-1 Gateway design, DFW, micro-segmentation, and Avi/NSX Advanced Load Balancing.

- Automation Integration: Experience with PowerCLI/PowerShell, Identity Brokers, enterprise PKI, DNS, and AD/LDAP.

- Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated success in direct customer-facing, consultative roles. Solid ability to mentor and lead technical execution teams.

- Act as the customer s primary technical partner, assessing requirements and leading multi-week design workshops.

- Author comprehensive design documentation and guide engineering teams through execution and operations.

- Client Engagement Stakeholder Management: Lead multiple architecture design workshops with client engineering teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and maintain clear ongoing technical leadership.





- Architecture Design: Author High-Level (HLD), Low-Level (LLD), implementation, migration, and rollback documentation for VCF management and workload domains, multi-site availability, and disaster recovery (DR).

- VCF Greenfield Deployment Upgrades: Plan, size, and deploy VCF Management and Workload Domains following Broadcom/VMware best practices. Execute complex version upgrades and lead migrations from legacy VMware environments or earlier VCF releases.

- NSX Design Implementation: Design and deploy comprehensive NSX architectures, including NSX Managers, Edge clusters, Transport Nodes, Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, Distributed Firewalls (DFW), micro-segmentation, and overlay/VLAN networks.

- Core VMware Compute Storage: Configure vSphere/ESXi clusters (HA, DRS, vMotion, EVC) and design vSAN storage policies, capacity planning, and external storage integrations.

- Automation Operations Management: Implement VCF Automation for self-service workload provisioning, establish VCF Operations for health monitoring and capacity management, and manage VCF Fleet/Lifecycle Management.

- Enterprise Integration: Integrate core infrastructure with enterprise DNS, NTP, Active Directory/LDAP, PKI certificates, Identity Brokers, and Avi/NSX Advanced Load Balancers.

- Technical Guidance Operations: Oversee technical teams through deployment, operationalization, capacity optimization, and major incident troubleshooting across the full SDDC stack.
