1. Job Responsibilities

- Independently set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines.
- Perform machine setting, tool selection and tool offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Understand and edit CNC programs using G-codes and M-codes.
- Work with FANUC / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers.
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring and other machining operations.
- Check component dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and height gauges.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues.
- Maintain tools, fixtures and machine cleanliness.
- Follow production targets, quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain production and inspection records.

1. Required Technical Skills

- VMC machine setting and operation.
- FANUC / Siemens / Mitsubishi controller knowledge.
- G-code and M-code programming knowledge.
- Tool setting and offset adjustment.




- Drawing reading and GD&T; knowledge.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and fixtures.
- Measuring instrument handling.
- Knowledge of machining processes and tolerances.
