Role

To manage and coordinate the servicing, maintenance, repair, and warranty-related activities of company-owned buses & trucks etc. Coordinating with authorised vehicle service centres, OEM representatives, local mechanics, and transport vendors to ensure vehicle reliability, safety, minimum downtime, and cost-effective maintenance.

:

- Handle overall servicing, maintenance, and repair activities of company-owned vehicles, particularly employee transportation buses.
- Plan and monitor periodic preventive maintenance and servicing as per OEM-recommended schedules.
- Coordinate with authorised service centres, vehicle dealers, OEM representatives, and local mechanics for servicing and repair activities.
- Handle warranty-related issues, coordinate warranty claims, and ensure timely resolution with respective service centres and manufacturers.
- Follow up on vehicle breakdowns, technical complaints, repair works, and replacement of defective parts.
- Monitor vehicle condition and ensure minimum breakdowns and downtime through timely maintenance.




- Coordinate with transport vendors and bus operators to ensure the availability and roadworthiness of buses for daily employee transportation.
- Identify and coordinate with local mechanics and workshops for emergency repairs and minor maintenance requirements.
- Obtain repair quotations, monitor service quality, and ensure cost-effective maintenance.
- Maintain vehicle-wise service history, maintenance schedules, breakdown records, warranty details, and repair expenses.
- Verify service bills, repair invoices, and spare parts replacement details before processing for approval.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure timely renewal and compliance of vehicle-related documents, including fitness certificates, insurance, permits, and pollution certificates.
- Conduct periodic vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are maintained in protected and roadworthy condition.
