We are looking for an experienced US Tax Lead to manage US tax compliance, tax accounting, and advisory activities and strong knowledge of US federal and state taxation and ASC 740. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

US Tax Compliance

- Lead the preparation and review of US federal and state tax returns.

- Manage tax compliance calendars, extensions, estimated payments, and filings.

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax deliverables.

- Support tax audits, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities.

Tax Accounting &

- Reporting

- Review current and deferred tax calculations and tax provisions.

- Support ASC 740 reporting and effective tax rate analysis.

- Review tax reconciliations, workpapers, and supporting schedules.

- Identify and communicate potential tax risks and issues.

Tax Advisory &

- Research

- Research and interpret US federal and state tax regulations.

- Provide tax guidance on business transactions and operational matters.

- Monitor changes in US tax legislation and assess potential business impact.

Team &

- Stakeholder Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop tax team members.

- Review work and ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion.

- Collaborate with Finance,



Accounting, Legal, and external tax advisors.

- Communicate tax matters and recommendations to senior management.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and documentation.

- Drive automation, standardization, and process efficiencies within the tax function.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.

- Experience in preparation and review of Forms 1065, 1040 and 1120.

- 4-8 years of relevant US corporate and individual tax experience.

- Strong knowledge of US federal and state taxation and ASC 740.

- Experience in corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax audits.

- Robust analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience with Big 4, multinational organizations, or global tax/shared-services teams is preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
