Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP Specialist to join our S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring high‑quality custom applications and seamless integration with the broader SAP technical architecture.

Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for up-to-date ABAP development.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Support migration and conversion activities from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
Participate in agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups.
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on ABAP OO, CDS,



and RAP frameworks.
Ensure compliance with SAP security, transport management, and change control processes.
Stay updated on SAP roadmap, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
Solid expertise in ABAP OO, CDS views, BOPF, and RAP.
Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA settings.
Proficiency in ABAP development tools (SE80, ADT, Eclipse).
Knowledge of SAP technical architecture, transport management, and system landscape.
Ability to design and implement custom applications and enhancements.
Understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, OData, ALE).
Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
