Role & responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes and standards.
Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, peeling, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
Support Chef de Partie and senior chefs during service hours.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
Perform any other kitchen duties assigned by senior chefs.
