Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end materials management, including material planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing and logistics.
Ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules and business requirements.
Drive inventory optimization, working capital reduction and material cost efficiency.
Manage supplier relationships, vendor development, negotiations and supplier performance.
Oversee MRP, demand forecasting, material scheduling and shortage management.
Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, finance and other cross-functional teams.
Implement process improvements, cost-reduction initiatives and supply chain optimization strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory, material availability, supplier performance and on-time delivery.

Preferred candidate profile
15+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain,



Procurement or Inventory Management within manufacturing or engineering industries.
Solid expertise in material planning, MRP, demand forecasting, inventory optimization and production planning.
Proven experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiations.
Demonstrated ability to reduce material costs, optimize working capital and ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and materials management processes.
Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders in a manufacturing setting.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills
