Job Description

- Lead the Molecular Biology & Cell Line Development function, driving strategy and execution across biosimilar development programs.
- Oversee the development, screening, and optimization of stable cell lines to support a robust biologics pipeline.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of scientists, managers, and functional leaders within the department.
- Drive scientific innovation and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance cell line productivity, quality, and development timelines.
- Collaborate closely with upstream, downstream, analytical, process development, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless product development.
- Manage departmental resources, budgets, and priorities while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Support the scale-up and transfer of cell line development processes,



ensuring alignment with organizational and project objectives.
- Foster a culture of scientific excellence, continuous improvement, and talent development while contributing to the long-term growth of biosimilars business.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in biologics/biosimilars, with deep expertise in cell line development.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary scientific teams.
- Solid track record of driving innovation, building capabilities, and delivering complex R&D; programs.
- Experience in establishing or scaling laboratory functions is highly desirable.
