Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can combine technical knowledge with strong sales and customer-management skills. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, understanding customer technical requirements, recommending suitable products, preparing quotations, and converting enquiries into orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Visit industries, factories, project sites, EPC companies, contractors and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements related to pumps, valves, compressors and VALVES.
- Select and recommend suitable products based on application, flow, pressure/head, capacity and other technical parameters.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
- Study enquiries, RFQs, BOQs, tender documents and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the technical, service, purchase and accounts teams for customer requirements.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, purchase orders and payments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Coordinate site visits, inspections, trials and product demonstrations when required.
- Monitor competitors, market prices and industry trends.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Maintain regular records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, orders and customer visits.
- Provide after-sales support and coordinate with the service team for technical issues.




- Prepare regular sales reports and submit them to management.

Required Technical Knowledge of:
- Centrifugal pumps
- Air compressors
- Pump selection and applications
- Basic pump calculations such as head, flow, pressure and power
- Reading technical datasheets, drawings and specifications
- Industrial applications and equipment selection

Required Skills
- Solid technical and communication skills
- Good negotiation and convincing ability
- Customer relationship management
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Ability to prepare quotations and commercial proposals
- Willingness to travel for customer visits
- Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into business opportunities
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach
- Good presentation and problem-solving skills

Educational Qualification B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering,

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial pumps, valves, compressors, HVAC, engineering equipment, EPC, manufacturing or industrial sales will be preferred.

Salary

Salary: 20000 TO 25000

Incentives: Performance-based incentives may be provided as per company policy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
