Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all facility operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the safe, effective, and reliable functioning of building infrastructure, utilities, and capital equipment.
- Lead the technical team in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, control systems, HVAC, chilled water, RO water, nitrogen and gas yards, process exhaust, LT systems, sprinklers, BMS/SCADA, and other electromechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, including scheduled inspections, system testing, equipment calibration, cleaning, battery checks, and maintenance of a 52-week Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) calendar.
- Ensure compliance with Global EHS standards through risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Management of Change (MOC), incident investigations, and implementation of applicable work permits, including hot work, confined space, electrical, and work-at-height permits.
- Drive maintenance priorities, timelines, and budgets; prepare cost estimates for facility upgrades, equipment installations, manpower, materials, and other operational requirements while ensuring cost optimisation.
- Oversee new tool installation support,



equipment specifications, technical documentation, and compliance with applicable building, operational, and safety standards.
- Manage root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA), inventory management, AMC renewals, vendor and contractor performance, and ensure adherence to defined service levels and KPIs.
- Maintain comprehensive O&M; documentation, including SLDs, P&IDs;, as-built drawings, meter reading logs, daily activity logs, equipment records, preventive and corrective maintenance reports, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Prepare and present daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, including QBR presentations; conduct monthly stakeholder reviews and contractor performance assessments, ensuring all reports and documentation are submitted to the designated client representative.

Requirements

- 8-12 years of experience, including at least 8 years in Facilities & Lab Utility Equipment Maintenance, site safety operations, and utility management.
- Proven expertise in managing site-wide safety programs, risk assessments, engineering controls, machine safety, material handling, LOTO, electrical safety, hazardous gas management, and work-at-height practices.
- Strong knowledge of ergonomics assessments, chemical safety, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS), and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in defining and monitoring KPIs aligned with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives, driving maintenance process improvements, and managing external vendors and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
