Role Overview

Vedantu is looking for a result-oriented Sales Team Lead with an EdTech background and proven expertise in sales leadership, people management, and business performance. The role involves leading and motivating a sales team, driving revenue and conversion targets, ensuring process adherence, and delivering a strong customer experience in a rapid-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Drive sales performance, conversions, and revenue through effective team management.
- Monitor team productivity, sales metrics, and individual performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team training.
- Ensure adherence to sales processes, CRM updates, and reporting standards.
- Track leads, follow-ups, conversion rates, and funnel performance to identify improvement areas.
- Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements





- 13 years of experience in a Sales Team Lead or similar leadership role.
- Prior experience in the EdTech industry is mandatory.
- Proven track record in sales performance and people management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
- Ability to manage sales numbers, drive conversions, and achieve targets.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, funnel management, and performance metrics.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
