Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking Tandoori Helper to assist the tandoor section with ingredient preparation, basic food preparation, and kitchen cleanliness. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn tandoori cooking techniques and support senior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing ingredients for tandoori dishes.
- Clean, cut, and arrange vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.
- Assist with preparing marinades and basic kitchen preparations.
- Support the preparation of tandoori breads and other assigned items.
- Help the Tandoori Cook during food preparation and service.
- Keep the tandoor workstation and surrounding area clean.
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and kitchen supervisors.




- Maintain proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
- Assist with stock arrangement and minimise food wastage.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations is preferred.
- Previous experience as a kitchen helper or tandoori helper is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn tandoori cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good work ethic and time management.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to work during busy kitchen service hours.
