Time difference: Tanzania (EAT) is 2 hours 30 minutes behind India (IST). Your 11:00 AM

7:00 PM IST day is 8:30 AM4:30 PM in Tanzania. Many candidates are already employed and prefer to speak after work, so you will occasionally need to take interviews in the evening (IST). On those days, you can adjust your hours the following day to balance it out.

About the role

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our back-office team in Vadodara. You will recruit for our Tanzanian clients remotely, using the Apti5 recruitment platform. For each vacancy, you will build a strong candidate pool, interview candidates online and put forward the best 5 in a summary sheet for review by the CHRO and the client.

You will then work directly with the client by email and phone through interviews, feedback and reference checks to the final decision.



Success in this role means completing the candidate list for each vacancy within one week.

Key responsibilities

Take vacancy requirements from clients and confirm the for each role.

Build a strong candidate pool by uploading CVs to the Apti5 platform and sourcing more candidates through LinkedIn, referrals and professional networks.

Invite, screen and interview candidates online through Apti5, and select the top 5 for each vacancy.

Prepare summary sheets and anonymised CVs for review by the CHRO and the client.

Coordinate client interviews, collect client feedback and complete reference checks.

Close each vacancy by recording the outcome and informing candidates.

Throughout, you will

Assess every candidate against the vacancy's .

Keep candidates' personal and contact details confidential.

Keep every candidate's status up to date on the platform.

Requirements A bachelor's degree in any discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in recruitment.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Skills we're looking for

Confident interviewing candidates online and assessing them objectively.

Experience sourcing and headhunting candidates through LinkedIn, referrals and professional networks.

Clear, professional communication with clients by email and phone, and with candidates mainly through the platform.

Strong organisation and follow-through you can run several vacancies at once without missing a step.

Comfortable with technology and quick to learn recent software. You will be trained on the Apti5 recruitment platform.

Discretion when handling confidential candidate and client information.

Willingness to recruit for an international market and learn about Tanzanian employers.
