Job Profile - System Administrator (IT Department)

Organization: Prestige Institute of Management & Research (PIMR), Bhopal

Location: Kokta Bypass Road, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Experience: 2–3 Years Minimum

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary:

PIMR Bhopal is looking for an experienced and skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain the institute & IT infrastructure, servers, networks, computer laboratories and technical support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Windows/Linux servers, operating systems and Active Directory.
- Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, managed switches and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and printer-related issues.
- Maintain computer laboratories, desktops, laptops and IT equipment.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, backups and IT security.
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff and students.
- Maintain IT inventory, documentation and preventive maintenance records.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for technical issues.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Computer Applications.
- BCA,



B.Tech, B.E., MCA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
- CCNA, Microsoft Server or Linux certifications will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, Active Directory and Windows/Linux.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage IT operations.
