1. Position: Support Engineer (Level 1)

- Level: Level 1

- Experience Required: 0-2Years of experience in technical support, desktop/hardware/network troubleshooting, or IT service desk operations.

Qualifications:

- BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science / IT) / Diploma in CS/IT / B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent.
- Relevant hardware, networking, or ITIL certifications (optional but advantageous).

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work:

- Technical Assistance: Provide direct technical assistance to police personnel and operational CCTNS users.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, desktop, and network connectivity problems related to CCTNS operations.
- Incident Management: Log, prioritize, track, and resolve user complaints and incidents using the designated ticketing system; escalate critical issues to higher authorities or external vendors when necessary.
- System Operations & Uptime: Ensure system uptime, troubleshoot downtime causes, and monitor real-time data synchronization between police stations and central servers.




- Data Integrity & Backups: Assist with data integrity verification, regular data backup routines, and recovery procedures while implementing security protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
- User Enablement & Training: Conduct hands-on training sessions for police personnel to ensure effective CCTNS module usage; assist staff in data entry, report generation, and system operations.
- Inter-Agency Coordination: Work closely with State IT teams, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), and external technical vendors for software patches, escalations, and updates.
- Reporting & Compliance: Adhere strictly to CCTNS guidelines and policies; prepare regular performance, incident resolution, MIS, and crime analytics reports for department review.
