Supply Chain Coordinator – Sourcing & Export Location: India | Department: Supply Chain / Export Operations | Type: Full time Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Export Manager Job Summary We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to handle sourcing from Indian suppliers and coordinate export shipments. The role includes vendor sourcing, purchase follow-up, preparation of export invoices and documents, shipment coordination, and basic accounting support. The ideal candidate should have sourcing experience in India, knowledge of export documentation, strong computer skills, and the ability to use AI tools for daily work.

Key Responsibilities Source and coordinate with Indian suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors. Collect quotations, compare price, quality, lead time, and supplier capability. Raise purchase orders and follow up for timely material delivery. Coordinate samples, quality checks, packaging, and order confirmations.

Prepare export documents: proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list, shipping bill, bill of lading/airway bill, certificate of origin, and other required documents. Ensure all export documents match in product description, quantity, weight, HS code, value, and Incoterms. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and shipping lines.

Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery and resolve delays or documentation issues. Maintain supplier records, shipment files, cost sheets, and export documentation records. Prepare basic invoices, debit/credit notes, and support accounts with reconciliation and payment follow-up.

Use Excel/Google Sheets for sourcing trackers, shipment schedules, and MIS reports. Use AI tools to draft emails,



quotations, product descriptions, checklists, and reports.

Candidate Requirements Qualification: B.Com, M.Com, MBA, or related degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, International Business, or Logistics.

Experience: 1–4 years in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, export documentation, or export operations.

Sourcing: Hands-on experience sourcing products or materials from India is preferred.

Export Knowledge: Familiarity with export invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, shipping bills, HS codes, Incoterms, and customs procedures.

Computer Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Word, email, ERP/Tally, and online sourcing platforms.

AI Knowledge: Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot to improve productivity.

Accounting: Basic accounting, invoice preparation, and reconciliation skills.

Soft Skills: Good communication, negotiation, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking ability.

Preferred Skills Knowledge of Indian supplier markets and product sourcing.

Experience with sea and air export shipments. Familiarity with IEC, AD Code, ICEGATE, GST export documentation, and export incentive documentation. Good English communication; additional Indian language skills are an advantage.
