Job Overview

Indian University Press is looking for an experienced Hindi Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 1–3 years of experience in the educational publishing industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and editing Hindi educational content for school textbooks and supplementary learning materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review Hindi content for school textbooks and educational publications.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy, spelling, sentence formation, and appropriate vocabulary.
- Proofread and edit Hindi manuscripts as per academic standards.
- Ensure content is age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare exercises, worksheets,



activities, and assessment questions.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to maintain content quality and consistency.
- Ensure accuracy in Hindi language usage, grammar, and terminology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Hindi or a related discipline.
- Mandatory 1–3 years of experience in a publication house, preferably in educational publishing.
- Excellent command of Hindi grammar, writing, and language skills.
- Knowledge of school-level Hindi curriculum and textbooks.
- Solid proofreading, editing, and content-development skills.
- Good research and communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
