Position: Student Counsellor

Experience: 2–5 years

Job Responsibilities

- Provide counselling and guidance to students regarding their academic, personal and emotional concerns.
- Understand students' behavioural and learning difficulties and provide appropriate support.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- Coordinate with teachers, parents and school management to support students' overall development.
- Identify students who require additional support and guidance.
- Maintain confidential student counselling records.
- Conduct awareness sessions on emotional well-being, social skills and positive behaviour.
- Support students in developing confidence, self-esteem and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Skills

- Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a related field.
- Relevant experience in student counselling or school counselling.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand students' needs and handle sensitive situations.
- Empathy, patience and a student-friendly approach.
- Experience in a school environment will be preferred.
