About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Australia/UK accounting team at Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. You will manage a portfolio of overseas clients, take ownership of accounts finalisation and compliance work, and support and review the work of junior team members while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounts for Australian and UK clients.
- Handle end-to-end bookkeeping and finalisation of accounts in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online and similar cloud platforms.
- Prepare and review bank, credit card, supplier and control account reconciliations.
- Prepare BAS, GST and PAYG returns for Australian clients, and VAT returns for UK clients, in line with local compliance requirements.
- Process and review payroll and superannuation (Australia) or payroll and pension (UK) as required.
- Prepare management reports,



financial statements and supporting schedules for clients.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and tax-related workings for review by the relevant professionals.
- Review the work of junior accountants, provide guidance and ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Communicate with onshore teams and clients to resolve queries and clarify requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow quality and deadline standards for every client engagement.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
