Job Title: SQL Developer cum Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated SQL Developer cum Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specications,

developing SQL-based solutions, creating reports, and ensuring data-driven decision-

making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in SQL development, and the ability to communicate eectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

Engage with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.

Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement

Documents (FRD), user stories, and process ows.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.

Convert business requirements into technical specications and database solutions.

Work closely with development, testing, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirements.

SQL Development

Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

Perform data analysis and generate business insights using SQL.

Design and optimize database structures for performance and scalability.

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

Support ETL processes and data integration activities.

Troubleshoot database and reporting issues.

Reporting & Analytics

Develop ad-hoc reports and dashboards for business users.

Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance metrics.

Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

Support management reporting and decision-making processes.

Knowledge of Jira, Conuence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.

Qualications

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Business Administration, or related eld.

BA certications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA are an advantage.

Microsoft SQL or Database certications are preferred.

Experience Required

3-8 Years of experience in SQL Development and Business Analysis.

Proven experience interacting with both business and technical stakeholders.

Experience in reporting, data analytics, and business process improvement initiatives.
