Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SPM Design Engineer with 3 years of experience in designing and developing Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, 2D and 3D modelling, machine components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient in design software and have a good understanding of machine design principles and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) based on project requirements.

- Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo.

- Design machine components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.

- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

- Understand and work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

- Ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and assembly teams for design implementation.





- Modify and improve existing machine designs as per customer requirements.

- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and project specifications.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in SPM / Special Purpose Machine Design.

- Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD

- Valuable knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.

- Knowledge of machine elements, mechanisms, and mechanical assemblies.

- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

- Ability to prepare BOM and detailed engineering drawings.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design / SPM Design.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Candidates from SPM manufacturing, industrial automation, and machine-building industries are preferred.

- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
