Role & responsibilities

- Conduct solar PV module testing as per IS 14286 (Part 1/Sec 1, 2 & 3), IS/IEC 61215 and IS/IEC 61730 (Parts 1 & 2), as applicable.
- Perform electrical performance testing, I-V characterization, insulation resistance, wet leakage current, and related safety tests.
- Operate environmental and reliability testing equipment, including thermal cycling, damp heat, humidity freeze, UV exposure, and mechanical load test systems.
- Carry out visual inspection, electroluminescence (EL) testing, and performance evaluation.
- Prepare test reports, maintain technical records, and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Support BIS/NABL audits, method validation, measurement uncertainty, and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain testing equipment, calibration records,



and laboratory safety procedures.

Preferred candidate profile Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience: 2-7 years, preferably in a BIS/NABL-recognized solar PV module testing laboratory.

- Hands-on experience with IEC 61215 / IEC 61730 testing.
- Familiarity with solar PV module testing equipment.
- Knowledge of BIS requirements and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Experience in testing crystalline silicon PV modules, including Mono PERC, TOPCon, and bifacial modules.
