: Software Engineer – ERP Mobile App (Flutter) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Flutter Developer to design, develop and maintain an ERP mobile application. The app will be used for data entry, tracking and dashboards, with all data stored in SQL Server. The app must also generate reports in Excel and PDF, and support email and printing directly from the mobile device.

Mobile App Development

Design, develop, test and deploy ERP mobile app using Flutter (Android and iOS). Build user-friendly data entry screens with proper validation, dropdowns, search and date/number pickers. Implement role-based login and access control for different user types. Maintain clean, reusable and well-documented code.

- Database and Backend Integration Store and retrieve all application data in SQL Server. Write and optimise tables, queries, joins, views and stored procedures. Integrate the app with a secure backend REST API layer that connects to SQL Server. Handle data synchronisation and offline data entry (local storage, then sync to server).
- Tracking and Dashboard Build dashboards with charts, KPIs and summary cards (daily, monthly, user-wise or department-wise). Implement tracking features such as status tracking, activity logs and, if required, location tracking. Provide filters, search and date-range selection for analysis.
- Reports, Email and Print Generate reports in Excel (.xlsx) and PDF formats. Send reports through email directly from the app.



Enable printing through standard and Bluetooth/thermal printers, and share via WhatsApp or other apps.
- Testing, Release and Support Debug issues, fix bugs and improve app performance. Perform unit and UI testing before every release. Publish and update the app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store (or deploy as APK internally). Work with the business team to understand requirements and provide user support.

Required Skills Mobile Development Strong knowledge of Flutter and Dart (2+ years hands-on).

State management: Provider, Riverpod, BLoC or GetX. Form handling, validation and navigation, plus responsive UI design.

Local storage: SQLite, Hive or SharedPreferences. Database (SQL Server) Strong T-SQL: queries, joins, indexes, views, triggers and stored procedures. Database design and normalisation. Performance tuning and basic backup/restore knowledge. API and Backend Consuming REST APIs (JSON) using Dio or http package. Working knowledge of building APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API (C#) or Node.js to connect the app with SQL Server.

Authentication and security: JWT/token-based login, password hashing, HTTPS, role-based access.

Dashboards and Reports Charts and graphs: fl_chart, Syncfusion charts or similar.

PDF generation: pdf and printing packages.

Excel generation: excel package (Flutter), or server-side using EPPlus / ClosedXML.



Familiarity with SSRS or Crystal Reports is an added advantage. Email, Print and Device Features Email: SMTP integration or server-side email through API; attaching PDF/Excel files.

Printing: printing package, Bluetooth and thermal printer integration (esc_pos).

File handling: path_provider, file picker, open file and share (share_plus). Camera, GPS and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) as required. Tools and Practices Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket) and Postman for API testing.

Android

Studio / VS Code, and Play Store / App Store publishing process. Basic knowledge of Agile / Scrum and a good grasp of ERP workflows (inventory, purchase, sales, HR, accounts). Good to Have Experience in ERP, accounting, inventory or payroll applications. Knowledge of Firebase, CI/CD and cloud hosting (Azure / AWS).

Experience with barcode/QR scanning and digital signature capture. Understanding of data security and backup practices.

Educational

Qualification B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. (IT/CS) or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

Soft Skills

Good problem-solving and logical thinking. Clear communication with business and technical teams. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Attention to detail, especially in data accuracy.
