About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Solar Site Supervisor to lead daily on-site installation, workmanship quality, and safety for residential rooftop solar projects. In this role, you will be on the ground turning approved engineering layouts into clean, durable, grid-connected solar setups while coordinating local installation teams, electricians, and fabricators.

This is an active field role requiring daily visits to customer rooftops to supervise mechanical and electrical work and ensure installations finish on schedule with zero rework.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation Supervision: Oversee end-to-end mechanical and electrical installation for residential rooftop systems (primarily 3 kW to 10 kW). Ensure mounting structures, panels, inverters, AC/DC distribution boxes, and cabling strictly follow technical drawings.
- Vendor & Labor Coordination: Direct and monitor third-party installation & commissioning (I&C;) teams, technicians, and daily labor. Keep work moving on time to avoid site delays.
- Quality & Workmanship Checks: Inspect structural stability, module clamping,



waterproofing/civil grouting, conduit neatness, and earthing pit installations.
- Material Verification: Check the Bill of Materials (BOM) when shipments arrive at the site, reporting any missing parts or transit damage right away to avoid idle days.
- Pre-Commissioning Testing: Conduct basic electrical checks before turning on the system.
- Utility Inspection Support: Assist during DISCOM / electricity board net-metering site visits and meter synchronization.
- Daily Progress Updates: Share daily site photos, milestone checklists, and punch lists through the team operations app/WhatsApp group.

Requirements

- Education: Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech freshers/junior engineers interested in on-site execution are welcome).
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of on-site supervisory experience in rooftop solar installations (residential preferred).
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for daily site-to-site travel
