About the Role

Sri Angammal Constructions is looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Site Civil Engineer who is passionate about construction site execution.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, executing planned construction schedules, coordinating with masons and labour teams, and ensuring smooth communication between the site and the company's Director.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the work, responds proactively to site requirements and ensures that construction activities progress without unnecessary delays.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Daily Site Execution

- Execute daily construction activities as per the approved drawings and planned work schedule.
- Ensure that daily targets are achieved without unnecessary delays.
- Supervise masonry, concreting, reinforcement, shuttering and other construction activities.
- Ensure proper sequencing of work and availability of materials.
- Monitor workmanship and maintain construction quality standards.

2. Labour & Mason Coordination

- Coordinate with masons, helpers, subcontractors and other site workers.
- Assign daily work responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Ensure continuous workflow without labour-related interruptions.
- Resolve routine site execution issues promptly.
- Maintain discipline and proper coordination among working teams.

3. Daily Reporting & Group Updates

- Share daily site progress updates in the designated company WhatsApp group.
- Upload regular site photographs and videos.
- Report completed activities, ongoing work and next-day requirements.




- Highlight material requirements, labour requirements and site-related issues in advance.
- Maintain transparent communication with the management.

4. Director & Management Coordination

- Maintain direct coordination with the company's Director regarding site activities.
- Communicate daily progress, execution challenges and work requirements.
- Follow management instructions and approved construction schedules.
- Immediately escalate technical issues or situations requiring management decisions.
- Ensure that instructions are communicated properly to the site team.

5. Quality Control & Technical Supervision

- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved structural and architectural drawings.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete work, masonry and finishing activities.
- Monitor material quality and construction workmanship.
- Ensure proper execution procedures and site safety practices.
- Maintain quality records and inspection updates.

6. Planning & Material Management

- Prepare daily and weekly work schedules.
- Plan manpower and material requirements in advance.
- Coordinate material deliveries to avoid work interruptions.
- Monitor material consumption and minimise wastage.




- Ensure that the next stage of work is ready without delays.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of practical construction site experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential building construction.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience in handling masons and labour teams.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.
- Must be comfortable with WhatsApp-based daily reporting.
